The City of Cupertino is recruiting for a part time Applications Intern in the Innovation and Technology Department. This entry-level internship will be responsible for assisting with the Web Content Management System for the Cupertino’s public website and for maintaining and updating the City’s intranet. The intern will also support the Application team in updating user and technical documentation. The ideal candidate will code and maintain web applications. The candidate will assist in doing needs analysis for projects and perform research for ideal software solutions. This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefited position. Work hours not to exceed 995 hours per fiscal year.
Ability to: Ability to work independently. Have good written, verbal communication and analytical skills.
Experience and Education: Must be either enrolled in a Computer Science degree program or in a related field.
License or Certificate: Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license is required.
