THE POSITION
Glenn County is recruiting individuals to fill one full-time Public Service Employee positions. The PSE III – Engineering Intern position at the Glenn County Public Works Agency The PSE III–Engineering Intern position performs a variety of routine and technical engineering and surveying tasks involved in the planning, design and construction of public works projects, provides technical staff assistance to higher-level engineering staff. This position is at-Will, temporary and scheduled for up to forty (40) hours per week with an anticipated maximum of 960 hours per fiscal year. This recruitment may be used to establish a list to fill future vacancies for the next six (6) months.

 

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Experience:            Some experience performing routine surveying or drafting work is desirable.

Training:        High school diploma or GED equivalent. College coursework in science, engineering, or surveying is desirable.
