Under general supervision, this incumbent performs technical work related to the collection, processing, analysis, preservation and disposition of crime scene evidence and other types of property; performs related work as assigned.

This position performs a variety of work in the monitoring of county, state and federal detainees and maintains the security and safety of inmates and staff.
