POLICE ASSISTANT

DEFINITION

The Police Assistant is a civilian, non-sworn, uniformed position that is responsible for a variety of customer service-based interactions with the community. Duties include non-hazardous enforcement of municipal parking laws and regulations as well as clerical front counter tasks related to phone and walk-in contacts at the police department.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED

Receives general supervision from the Administrative Assistant. Projects are assigned, and the person usually works with very little supervision.

The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for the  flexibly staffed position of Elections Clerk I-II in the Elections Division within the Clerk-Recorder’s Office for both Extra Help and Full Time positions. This position reports directly to the Registrar of Voters Manager. This class is flexibly staffed, and incumbents may advance to the II-level after gaining experience, demonstrating proficiency, and meeting the qualifications. Initially under close supervision, incumbents learn state and federal laws, rules and regulations related to conducting elections as well as County policies and procedures. As experience is gained, assignments become more complex and are performed under more general supervision. THE POSITION: 

The City of San Pablo is actively recruiting for a Community Services Coordinator I/II position to plan, organize, and direct services and programs within the Community Services Department for our senior population, volunteer programs and city-wide special events. Our senior programs provide opportunities for adults 50 years of age and older, to engage in active and healthy programming. The Church Lane Senior Center hosts a congregate lunch program, numerous senior focused special events, weekday door-to-door transportation service (managed by a different full-time coordinator) and drop- in programs and classes. POSITION INFORMATION

Livermore Area Recreation and Park District is currently recruiting  for Preschool Teachers  who are cheerful, child focused, and creative to plan themed based programs. This position will be responsible for planning curriculum, engaging in conversations with children (age 4 and 5), assist children in projects, supervise indoor and outdoor play, interact with parents, oversee the direction of the assigned teacher assistant, and be responsible for the overall safety of the children in the program.  

Minimum educational requirement: 12 ECE units in the core classes. Must have experience and understanding of working with preschool children.

Under direct supervision of the Management Analyst II, the Human Services Billing Unit Accounting Specialist I will work as part of a billing team and also across the various department divisions. This position is responsible for assisting in the billing process of our Medi-Cal programs through the use of our new electronic health record system and other county, state and

funder based billing systems. Our department provides an array of counseling and case management services to children, youth, seniors and families across the Tri-City area.
