The Position: The Parks and Recreation Department's core function is to ensure healthy places and actives that foster community engagement and active lifestyles. The Position

The City of South San Francisco seeks customer service-oriented individuals to join the Community Resource Team at the new Library | Parks and Recreation Center. This position is shared between the Library Department and Parks and Recreation Department and works under the direction of the Community Resource Analyst. The Community Resource Clerk will typically be stationed at the lobby desks on the first and second floors of the new Library | Parks and Recreation Center at 901 Civic Campus Way in South San Francisco, however, may temporarily be assigned to other sites, or to represent the departments at special events. As a Building Attendant, you will be responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of the Burlingame Community Center, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all occupants. • Compiling sample ballots, specialized election documents, and similar materials with accuracy, completeness, and correct English usage.

• Train warehouse and field technicians on warehouse safety, secure equipment setup and usage, etc.

Qualifications

• Basic California election laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Basic inventory control methods and techniques.
• Office administrative practices and procedures, including filing and the operation of current office equipment.
• Basic business data processing principles and the use of office or online computer applications.
