For more information about SJC, visit http://www.flysanjose.com .San José Mineta International Airport (SJC) is seeking to fill a Systems Applications Programmer I position for the Application & End User Support Team in the Airport Technology Services Unit. The Unit has the responsibility for administering the Airport's network & telecom infrastructure, outside plant infrastructure, data centers, application services, Helpdesk, desktop support, website services, business process improvement initiatives, and the project management office (PMO). Along with these services, the Airport Technology Services Department team also provides services to the airlines, City staff, and tenants.

The SAP I will provide applications systems solutions and support for users at SJC and will be responsible for:
• Providing programming / technical level support for the Airport's intranet, built on SharePoint Online (SPO).
• Providing technical level support to implement BPA (Business Process Automation) tools on SPO. This includes providing SimpliGov, WorkFlow, Power Automate, MS Teams, and other similar No-Code / Low-Code technology solutions.
• Implementing and deploying new applications releases - such as Bentley Projectwise Document Management System and Airport ERP (i.e. Propworks). These are systems that have been purchased by the Airport and currently run on-premise. Airport IT provides platform support and Level 1 applications support for these systems. On-going systems enhancements and level 2 support (and beyond) are provided by the application vendors.
• Maintaining and enhancing Airport applications using tools including SQL server, Microsoft Visual Studio, and similar applications development tools.
• Development, deployment, and support of Airport specific tools and applications tools as appropriate to improve Airport business processes and procedures.

In addition to the citywide SAP skills requirements, the following technical skills will be essential:
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Oracle SQL Plus/SQL Developer

• SharePoint, SPO
• Microsoft Office 365 technologies and tools, Workflow, Power Automate, and Microsoft Teams

This is the first level in the Systems Applications Programmer Series and incumbents are expected to be able to perform all normal programming functions related to standard jobs not involving unusual applications. Incumbents receive routine analytic assignments as well as straightforward programming work.

Salary range for this classification is: $81,790.80 - $99,437.52

This salary range(s) includes an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation. Actual salary shall be determined by the final candidates' qualifications and experience.

We are looking for a talented and experienced professional to be an Executive Assistant to support the City Manager and Assistant City Manager.  We are seeking a candidate with experience supporting high-level executives within an organization. The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for the  flexibly staffed position of Elections Clerk I-II in the Elections Division within the Clerk-Recorder’s Office for both Extra Help and Full Time positions. This position reports directly to the Registrar of Voters Manager. This class is flexibly staffed, and incumbents may advance to the II-level after gaining experience, demonstrating proficiency, and meeting the qualifications. Initially under close supervision, incumbents learn state and federal laws, rules and regulations related to conducting elections as well as County policies and procedures. As experience is gained, assignments become more complex and are performed under more general supervision. Incumbent to this position will assist in conducting elections; process voter registration; maintain voter registration database; review and accept election filings; coordinate poll workers and polling facilities; proof printed, audio and electronic election materials; track, prepare and test electronic voting equipment; and perform other duties as assigned.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

• Perform general and specialized clerical duties related to assigned functional area.
• Process and verify a variety of documents including general and legal correspondence, memos and statistical data.

About the Highway Program Deputy Director

The Highway Program Deputy Director, reporting to the Chief of Engineering and Program Delivery, manages a diverse and talented team of seasoned staff who is well-versed on the delivery of capital projects related to the State highway system and other roadways in the county. This position is responsible for directing and leading collaboration on planning, design development (including technical analysis in support of preliminary engineering and final design), project-related right-of-way activities (in coordination with VTA Real Estate), construction management and close out, overall program/project management (including scopes, costs, schedules and quality of work), management of staff resources (both VTA and consultant), coordination with project stakeholders within VTA and beyond (e.g., local agencies, Caltrans, federal agencies, resources agencies, utilities, etc.), and community and other outreach (working with VTA public information and government affairs staff).

The City of Santa Clara is recruiting for the Electric Utility Chief Operating Officer for its Electric Utility, Silicon Valley Power (SVP).  Reporting to the Chief Electric Utility Officer (CEUO), the Electric Utility Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a senior management position in the City's unclassified service responsible for the oversight and direction for the fiscal, administrative, and managerial operations of the utility. The COO has supervisory and support responsibilities for the utility's divisions: Utility Operations, Customer Development and Project Management, Resource Planning and Customer Engagement, and Business Services. The COO will help guide SVP through the extraordinary period of growth related by doubling the existing capacity of the electrical system to meet new customer demands over the next 10 years. In addition to the expansion, the COO will work to ensure new renewable resources are added to meet the City's and State’s climate goals. The COO is responsible for forecasting service requirements and for planning, organizing and directing assigned resources of the electric utility division in order to meet those requirements. This includes developing and administering the department operations and capital improvement budgets. The COO is expected to exercise critical thinking and detail oriented oversight in ensuring that utility operations are smooth, efficient, and compliant, with responsibility for results including costs, methods, and staffing.
