THE POSITION

The purpose of this recruitment is to hire a temporary/part-time position. Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications for the Tree Trimmer I position may be considered for employment as an Intern. The City of Auburn is hiring to fill a part-time, Retired Annuitant Bus Driver I/II position. Under general supervision, this position operates a bus over designated routes to transport passengers; maintains established schedule; and ensures passenger safety.
The Retired Annuitant position is limited to work no more than 960 hours per fiscal year. Placement in the class series is dependent upon qualifications. The salary range for each level is below:
- Bus Driver I: $45,864 - $58,552
- Bus Driver II: $48,152 - $61,484

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
The City of Lincoln is hiring for a seasonal Maintenance Worker II within the Parks and Facilities Division of the Public Works Department.
The Department is looking for an individual with at least three years of responsible experience performing municipal parks maintenance. Course work and training in maintenance, agronomy, horticulture, forestry, natural resource management, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, janitorial or related field is highly desirable. A successful candidate will have the ability to obtain a Class B Driver’s License within one year of employment.
