The Department is recruiting to fill multiple Associate Construction Inspector vacancies in the Engineering Services Division. These vacancies are assigned to the Construction Management Services and Materials Testing Laboratory sections.
The Associate Construction Inspectors assigned to the Construction Management Services-Capital Program section are responsible for technical inspection services to ensure compliance with City and State Standards and Specifications. Typical duties include, but are not limited to the following:

ABOUT THE POSITION
The City of Redwood City’s Library Department invites you to apply for the part-time (20 hours per week) regular position of Library Assistant I/II providing a variety of services for children, adults, and families.
The current openings are based at the Downtown Library. Bilingual ability (Spanish/English) is desirable.
The Public Works Department is looking to fill two (2) Air Conditioning Mechanic vacancies. The Air Conditioning Mechanic position is responsible for performing HVAC duties at more than 200 civic building sites across San Jose. The position will be responsible for performing the operational support, adjustment, troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems and auxiliary equipment.
This position will require controls experience, mechanical equipment experience, and water treatment experience.
The City of Redwood City Library invites you to apply for the position of Contract Project READ Program Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic, values-driven candidate to serve alongside our Student Tutor Coordinators and Literacy Staff with offering support and resources to our community.
This is a contract position, scheduled to work 30-35 hours per week, Monday – Thursday between the hours of 12:00PM– 9PM, and Fridays between the hours of 10:00AM – 5:00PM, as well as weekends as needed, for an anticipated term of one year.
The Senior Information Technology Technician repairs and maintains library information technology equipment; performs diagnostics using programs and utilities; contacts vendors and service contractors, as needed; installs replacement parts and information technology and telecommunications equipment; installs and configures PC software applications in a networked environment; and performs other related duties as assigned.
