This full-time position is dedicated to financing future debt, assisting in long-term capital planning, and monitoring the current outstanding debt portfolio of the City, including General Obligation, Lease Revenue, Airport, Commercial Paper, Direct Placements, Multifamily Housing and Tax Allocation Bonds, including debt for other citywide projects.
The Accounting Technician is a journey level position in which the employee will be assigned a full scope of duties. Required activities of the position include: process credit receipts; process accounts payable; prepare journal entries; review/edit reports; assist in the development of policies and maintenance of records; assist with payroll and the administration of benefits; assist with agenda packets; administer claims; provide internal and external customer service; and other related duties as assigned.

SMART is the San Francisco Bay Area's newest transit system serving Marin and Sonoma counties. We are seeking experienced and motivated individuals who enjoy the challenge of creating new processes and systems. Under direction, the Signal Technician is responsible for maintenance and repair of grade crossing warning devices, signaling and SMART's Positive Train Control system, rail safety communication systems and car borne signal components.
