Receives and dispatches 9-1-1, emergency and non-emergency calls from the public and allied agencies for police, fire and ambulance personnel, equipment, services, and after-hours public works services.
The Town of Portola Valley is seeking two motivated planning professionals to join the team. Two planners will be hired across the classifications of Assistant, Associate, and Senior Planner, depending on qualifications. The successful candidates will join a dynamic staff that works closely with the Town Council to advance Council’s priorities for the Town. Potential upcoming work for the department includes a comprehensive update to the General Plan, the first since Town incorporation, implementation of the Housing Strategic Plan, and Zoning Code improvements.
