Under the direct supervision of the Recreation Supervisor, the Site Supervisor is responsible for the implementation and organization of activities within the Summer Fun program, supervises Recreation Leaders, Junior Recreation Leaders and program participants and enforces all facility rules and regulations effectively.

The City of San Dimas is seeking an enthusiastic team player for its Recreation Specialist position to work under direction of the Recreation Coordinator to assist with planning, coordinating, promoting and implementing Kids Fun Club Day Camp program.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Under supervision, Recreation Leaders are responsible for coordinating and conducting a variety of youth recreation activities, and providing general supervision of children or teens at a summer camp, playground program, sports program and/or special events. Recreation leaders must be available Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., and additional hours as assigned.
Under general direction to plan, develop, and implement assigned city wide recreation programs of average difficulty involving supervision of support staff and to perform other related work as required.
Under general supervision, is responsible for the safety of swimmers; enforcement of regulations, pool maintenance and swimming instruction at a municipally-operated swimming pool.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
Under the direction of assigned Site Supervisor, assists in the provision of recreational activities for small or large groups of children. Job duties will take place in a recreational setting to plan and implement recreational activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and special events. Performs a variety of clerical duties as assigned.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Under direction this person instructs fitness classes at the San Dimas Recreation Center in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment. Instructor will promote wellness and create appropriate and challenging workouts for participants at the appropriate and safe level. They will instruct participants about exercise activities that improve strength, cardiovascular endurance and flexibility. They demonstrate correct movements and technique, while offering tips on improving form to maintain or improve physical fitness.
