The Human Resources Department is seeking well qualified candidates for the position of HRIM /Workday Application Support Analyst II. We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our Human Resources Information Management /Workday team.
As the HRIM /Workday Application Support Analyst II, you will collaborate and consult with colleagues in various departments to understand business and functional drivers across all Workday HR modules. Your responsibilities will include hands-on configuration of Workday features, security, development of reports and dashboards, and provision of sound solutions to support end-to-end business processes. Additionally, you will assist with Workday tenant management, deliver exceptional customer support, and contribute to system testing and issue resolution.
Once job duties are learned, this position has the option of hybrid work, two or three days in the office and two days of remote work.
The base hourly salary range for this position is $56.47 - $70.58. Because the position is classified as "confidential" there is a 5% allowance added to the salary. This allowance has been added into the advertised salary range.

Examples Of Duties
Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Collaborate and consult with HR, Controller's Office, and other County departmental partners to understand business and functional drivers across all Workday HR modules.
- Configure Workday calculated fields, business processes, domain and business process security policies, and role assignments.
- Develop Workday reports and dashboards.
- Recommend efficient security and organization solutions to support end-to-end business processes.
- Assist with Workday tenant management.
- Provide the highest level of customer support through internal ticketing system and other communication channels.
- Support system functionality testing and issue resolution and develop proof of concepts based on business requirements.
- Build relationships with other Workday domain experts and critical users and collaborate with internal teams and vendors for process alignment.
- Assist in granting security access to Workday, following security protocols.
- Act as an escalation point for unresolved security or business process issues as directed.
- Assist with compliance reporting and system monitoring.
- Help manage Workday releases, identifying impact and enhancement opportunities, and communicate with functional owners and application leads.
- Support regression testing and introduction of required changes for new Workday releases.
- Continuously monitor Workday community for updates and valuable changes.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to foster productive work relationships.
- Configure Workday security, including security groups, roles and permissions, user access, and implementation of security best practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience/Education:
- 3-5 years of proven Workday expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting business process and security solutions.
- Workday Pro certification in a relevant area is preferred but not required.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Technology or an equivalent field of study, is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven experience leading multiple end-to-end Workday projects and implementing solutions for operational improvements and automation.
- Knowledge of basic and advanced security configuration including Workday delivered and custom based security roles based on the organization.
- Thorough knowledge of various security group types (role based, user based, segment based, etc.) and how they are applied in the system.
- Thorough understanding of Workday business process configurations.
- Ability to build and modify custom Workday reports and calculated fields.
- Experience in creating, loading, and troubleshooting EIBs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities effectively.
- Demonstrates confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive matters.
- Thrives in a demanding and fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Displays discretion and exercises independent judgment.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills.
- Flexibility to adjust hours and accommodate business needs.
- Experience in BIRT and Workday Integrations including Workday Studio.
