The Planning Director, as head of the Planning and Building Department, oversees the Town’s
development review processes and code enforcement activities to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal land use and environmental regulations while simultaneously providing professional and responsive services to the public.
The Planning and Building Department is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of Code Compliance Manager. Under the general direction of the Director of Community Development, the Code Compliance Manager will plan, organize, direct and coordinate the activities of the Code Compliance division within the Planning & Building Department, including enforcing the County Zoning Regulations, Abandoned Vehicles Ordinance, Nuisance Ordinance, and other ordinances related to the use, maintenance and safety of land and structures.

About the Position
Under the direction of the General Manager and direct supervision of the Assistant General Manager of Operations, perform and assist in Geographic Information System (GIS) data editing and geodatabase maintenance, map and exhibit generation, routine CAD drafting, and the support of District departments in their use of District data and applications. The GIS Technician will assist staff with interpreting survey legal descriptions for District easements, plotting the descriptions in AutoCAD, and entering the easements into a GIS Database.
