The City of Berkeley is seeking a Housing Development Specialist (Community Development Project Coordinator)! In this role you will have the opportunity to be part of the team responsible for implementing the City’s Housing Trust Fund and Small Sites Programs. This position will work on renovations and new construction projects, the latter of which will include developments at the North Berkeley and Ashby BART sites. You'll work closely with nonprofit developers to underwrite project proposals, recommend funding, negotiate loan and regulatory agreements, and monitor project progress.
LARPD is seeking a summer intern to support the Community Outreach Department. Applicants should have the equivalent of one year of college credits completed toward a degree. Candidates interested in learning about communications, content creation, and social media with a government agency will be given preference.
