County of San Mateo's Department of Child Support Services is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Child Support Analyst I/II to help parents meet the financial, medical and emotional needs of their children.

PRNS is currently hiring for a Recreation Program Specialist vacancy in its Recreation and Community Services Division. The Recreation and Community Services Division operates 10 Community Center Hub sites and oversees over 39 partner-operated sites that offer youth and senior programs, camps, leisure classes, sport leagues, therapeutics and aquatics.
The Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services (PRNS) is conducting this recruitment to fill at least two current and one upcoming Analyst I/II positions within the next 2-3 months (current vacancies include one full-time and one half-time vacancy, with a prospective full-time Analyst I/II position expected to become available in October 2018). Accordingly, the department is seeking candidates who possess broad sets of administrative experiences and have the analytical “know-how” to creatively support a variety of administrative functions across the department, including:
To prepare, analyze and disseminate information relevant to actual and anticipated criminal activity; to increase the effectiveness of patrol deployment, crime prevention and the apprehension of suspects; and to perform special assignments as assigned. The purpose of this recruitment is to fill a current vacancy, as well as establish an eligibility list for future vacancies.

The Mayor’s Gang Prevention Task Force (MGPTF) is the City of San José’s Youth Violence Reduction Strategy which operates within PRNS department of the City of San José. Over the past 25 years, the MGPTF has strategically worked to address issues of gang involvement among youth and young adults in an effort to reduce youth violence associated with gangs.
