The City of Patterson’s Public Works Department is seeking to fill a full-time Maintenance Worker I, II or III position and to establish an Eligibility List. Under supervision, to learn to perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled manual labor duties involving the repair, maintenance, construction and cleanup of public works facilities, City buildings, streets, water, sewer and storm drains to assist with maintaining City trees and vegetation; and to assist with customer service issues and service requests.

The IT Systems Engineering Specialist (ITSES) performs complex installation, diagnostic and maintenance activities for the City's server, data, network, and telecommunications infrastructure, and regularly provides advanced technical and functional support, direction and leadership to other technical staff. Additionally, this position provides timely support via the help desk, in-person, verbal, and written communication to addresses end user needs and support issues.

Under general direction, develops programs to fulfill the technology learning needs of communities served; provides public-access digital literacy services through the Library’s drop in media centers and pop-up Makerspaces, organized learning opportunities and/or individual coaching; and performs related work as required.

The annual salary range for this position is
$122,316 - $163,104, DOQ.
