The City’s School Crossing Guards play an important role in the life of children who walk or bicycle to school in helping them safely cross the street at key locations.
The After School Instructor will plan, prepare, and instruct recreation activities (Instructor Aides will assist). Activities may include art, cooking, dance, pre-school program and other program areas. Programs are designed for children ages 6–12 years of age (school grades 2nd to 6th). Job site placement: Brier, Cabrillo, or Grimmer Elementary.

Instruct children and adults (primarily 5-12 years of age) in beginning to intermediate sports camps or programs, such as Badminton, Basketball, Baseball, Cricket, Football, Softball, Soccer, Tennis, etc. Class content should provide basic and/or more advanced game mechanics, strategies, and the rules of sports, depending on the student level of skill. Class must emphasize the importance of good sportsmanship and team play. The goal is to have fun and develop a skill.

The City of Chowchilla is seeking a Specialized Service Maintenance Worker I, under general supervision from the Public Works Supervisor, to perform basic construction, maintenance, repair and alteration work in the completion of Public Works/Public Services activities in streets, grounds, water, sewer, storm drains and facilities.
