Under the direction and supervision of the Deputy Fire Marshal, the Fire Prevention Specialist performs responsible, technical and specialized work in the fields of life safety inspection, engineering and code enforcement. This is an entry-level position.

Performs a variety of unskilled or semi-skilled maintenance work, and operates a variety of equipment in the construction, operation, repair, maintenance and replacement of Town water, sewer, street and storm drainage facilities and systems.

The City of San José's Planning, Building and Code Enforcement Department is recruiting to fill an Accountant I/II to manage the daily operations of the Fiscal section within the Administrative Services Division. This position will be responsible for supervising a staff of four (4) employees and will report to the Administrative Officer in the Administrative Services Division.
