ABOUT THE POSITION
The City of Redwood City invites you to apply for the position of Contract Street Maintenance Worker. This current opening is in the Public Works Services Department.
This position reports to the Public Works Field Supervisor and will serve as a skilled worker who performs street maintenance duties.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Typical duties may include the following:
-Review, post and balance ledgers and other documents; process and review revenue, review and balance petty cash and/or change funds.
-Conduct and maintain inventory of stores, equipment and supplies.
-Compile and process payment and/or requisitions for various financial transactions; assign payment to cost centers.
-Prepare worksheet, financial charges and invoices, issue and maintain records of parking permits.
-Prepare special checks.
Distinguishing Characteristics: The Library Program/Marketing Assistant is a part time permanent position with the St. Helena Public Library. As a part of the library’s programming team, this person will work with the outreach services librarian, the library director, and other staff to develop and implement a regular schedule of programs and events for St.
