The City of Foster City has an opening for a Engineering Intern in the Public Works Department. The position is part-time with flexible scheduling, up to 980 hours per fiscal year, and no benefits provided. The department is interested in candidates for the summer or candidates who can start as soon as possible.
DEFINITION: Under general supervision, performs a variety of preventative maintenance, repairs, and installation of water pollution control plant, sewage pumping facilities, and equipment; maintains accurate maintenance records; orders and maintains an inventory of supplies, parts, and other frequently used items; and performs related duties as assigned.
