The Department of Finance is hiring a Purchasing Manager (Program Manager) in the Purchasing Division. The Division is responsible for the procurement of all maintenance and repair (MRO) goods and services that are required to support operations throughout the City. The Division is also responsible for all information technology (IT) procurements and Insurance and Risk Management that are required to support operations throughout the City.
Under general direction, performs a wide range of field and office duties to support and/or accomplish the goals and objectives of the Public Safety Department including customer service, receipt and response to questions from the public; performs a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned area or responsibility; and, performs related work as required.
