Cadet Program (20498553)
Woodside Fire Protection District offers an exceptional Cadet Program for individuals interested in a career in the Fire Service. Cadets gain hands-on experience participating in training and public service events. Cadets work 24-hour shifts and ride-along on emergency calls.
Woodside Cadets will work and be involved in:
Emergency calls, firefighter training, public education events, fire prevention, station duties, CERPP, CPR/first aid training. They must also meet monthly hour requirements and attend monthly training drills.
The City of Brisbane is currently recruiting certified Lifeguards for our beautiful year-round outdoor aquatic facility. Lifeguards patrol and watch the activities in and around the community swimming pool, enforce regulations to prevent accidents, and rescue swimmers in distress. DEFINITION: Under general supervision, assists instructor in swim classes, enforces all rules and regulations pertaining to the safety and well-being of visitors and patrons. Perform related work as required. NOTE: This program provides on the job training to prepare a swim aide to become a Swim Instructor. This entry-level aquatics position is designed to give valuable training and orientation to the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Program, and the Mill Valley Aquatics Program for Individuals who desire to work in aquatics but don’t have required experience.
