The Building Division
The City of Menlo Park is seeking a Building Inspector I to provide building construction inspections. This position is part of an Inspectors/Permit Staff team working on a variety of projects from single family dwellings, commercial tenant improvements in existing or new buildings and new constriction of large development mixed use projects.
The City of Redwood City invites you to apply for the position of Senior Building Inspector. The current open position is in the Community Development Department, and reports directly to the Building Official. The Senior Building Inspector is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the activities of the Building and Inspection staff. The Senior Building Inspector has primary responsibility for managing the Inspection and/or Code Enforcement functions of the Building Division.

Under the direction of the Building Official, the Building Technician provides technical, administrative, and clerical support to the Building Division of the Planning and Building Department. This position provides excellent customer service and assistance to the general public, receives and reviews permit applications, and performs other duties as assigned.
