This position is responsible for performing paralegal duties related to legal transactions for the Community Energy Department, requiring both sound judgment and good technical skills. These duties may include, but are not limited to, drafting, reviewing and editing a variety of contracts, resolutions and ordinances, coordination with City or other government departments or agencies, involvement in the City Council agenda process, and responding to public record act requests. Additional consideration will be given to individuals with public or private utilities field experience.

This position is responsible for design, configuration, maintenance, and fault isolation of the County enterprise network including: network security, routing, switching, wireless LAN, WAN, VOIP, Virtual Private Networking, testing, and repairing network infrastructure. This individual may exercise technical and functional direction over lower-level staff and may also provide training on a project basis.
