The City of San Jacinto is seeking a customer centric, technically skilled, team player with excellent interpersonal skills to fill the position of Information Technician I. Under direction of the Manager of Information Services this entry-level position is responsible for providing technical support, installation, and maintenance of software, hardware, and network applications or processes. Incumbents will prepare and track help desk related request as well as assist in hardware and software research, acquisition, ordering, and inventory.
The starting salary is up to $70,470.40 with the actual salary determined by the final candidate's qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in the Principal Account Clerk classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
To conduct responsible administrative and accounting systems work related to major accounting functions; and to provide support to administrative, supervisory and general staff. The purpose of this recruitment is to fill an anticipated vacancy, as well as establish an eligibility list for future vacancies.
