The Head Lifeguard oversees the daily operations of the swim center by assisting in the planning, direction, leadership and staffing of swim center programs, performing a variety of lifeguard tasks, clerical duties, and assisting with aquatic and recreational citywide special events. Under general supervision, conduct and participate in recreational program activities according to established programs, schedules, and standards, in accordance with District policies and procedures.
Under general direction to plan, develop, and implement assigned city wide recreation programs of average difficulty involving supervision of support staff and to perform other related work as required.
