The City of Glendora seeks an enthusiastic and team oriented candidate with excellent customer service skills to work on a crew performing skilled labor in the maintenance and repair of public water systems including meter programming, water billing software/programs and installing and testing large meters, and may perform work in the Water Production division as needed.
There is currently a vacancy in the Public Works Water Division. This recruitment will establish an eligibility list which may be used to fill vacancies Citywide.

COMPENSATION: $22.00 an hour
This seasonal position works with the City’s maintenance staff to perform: unskilled labor in the parks and landscape medians, street and sidewalk maintenance, street sign maintenance, and building maintenance. Duties include, but are not limited to: raking, emptying trash cans and litter removal, irrigation repair, weeding, edging, street sign maintenance and graffiti removal. Work is closely supervised; work methods are explained in specific terms and work is subject to frequent review.

Under supervision, performs sub-professional engineering office work related to Public Works improvements; elementary field surveying; computer-aided drafting and design work; and related work as required.
