This is a professional classification and is responsible for the maintenance, modification, implementation, development, and process customization of, and training for, a variety of software applications.
Under direct supervision of the Program Coordinator, the Substance Abuse Intervention Specialist will perform individual and group intervention for adolescents with drug and alcohol abuse problems. This City of Fremont Youth and Family Services position is supported by a grant from Alameda County Behavioral Health Care Services. This is a temporary, 40 hours per week assignment. Current funding allows for a 1 year assignment. There is potential for longer term employment dependent on continued funding.
