The Department of Public Works Technology Services Section is recruiting to fill multiple Geographic Systems Specialist I/II (GSS I/II) positions on the Enterprise GIS Team. These are data-focused positions that will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and ensuring the integrity of enterprise GIS datasets as well as providing ongoing support for Enterprise GIS activities and development of technology solutions that maximize the delivery of City products and services. The individuals selected for these positions will work primarily in the production group of the Enterprise GIS Team.
The District has one regular, full-time opening for the position of Automotive Mechanic II in the Facilities & Watershed Division. Interested persons must submit a completed District application and Supplemental Questionnaire to the Human Resources Department no later than the filing deadline.
Under general supervision, performs service and repair work on a variety of District vehicles and gasoline and diesel-powered equipment; and to do related work as required.
The City of Sunnyvale is recruiting for the position of Equipment Mechanic. The position will be responsible for a variety of semi-skilled and skilled maintenance and repair of a variety of automobiles, trucks, fire trucks, medium and heavy equipment, auxiliary power units and other City owned equipment.

The EMA I/II is responsible for performing inspections, communicating with other staff and customers, servicing, installation of electronic electrical equipment, ordering parts, entering data in the fleet management system, road testing and diagnosing problems to make various repairs and adjustments on automotive, heavy truck and/or heavy equipment.
