The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for the position of Building Maintenance Technician II in the Administrative Services Department. This class is flexibly staffed up to the II-level. Under general supervision, the II-level performs the full range of semi-skilled and skilled construction, remodeling and building maintenance duties in an assigned area of responsibility with considerable independence. This is the journey-level in the building and grounds maintenance series.

complex skilled and semi-skilled work in the inspection, repair and maintenance of library
infrastructure, systems and facilities; demonstrates full competence as a tradesperson in two (2) or
more trades including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting; and performs related
work as required.
Under close supervision of a sworn peace officer, this non-sworn police trainee classification is designed specifically and solely for the purpose of employing police officer candidates in a non-sworn status during the initial formalized basic police officer training phase.
