The Budget Manager administers the preparation and execution of the City's capital and operating budgets and long-range financial plans; provides financial analysis to departments; serves as a member of the department's management team; and performs other duties as assigned.

Under general direction of the Director of Finance, is responsible for the oversight and direction of several divisions within the Department of Finance such as budget management, accounting services, payroll, performance audit and accounts payable.

The incumbent, under general supervision will provide responsible and technical front counter and office support, answering questions related to permit and building inspection activities; provide advice and assistance to applicants; receive and review building permit applications, issue permits and perform related work as assigned.
