The Planning and Building Department is seeking a qualified Code Compliance Officer I/II. Under general supervision, this journey level position performs duties to assure compliance with various land use related codes and ordinances, such as zoning, weed abatement, public nuisances, property maintenance, and abandoned vehicle abatement.
Yuba County is currently recruiting for the position of Permit Technician in the Community Development and Services Agency. The incumbent, under general supervision will provide responsible and technical front counter and office support, answering questions related to permit and building inspection activities; provide advice and assistance to applicants; receive and review building permit applications, issue permits and perform related work as assigned. This position coordinates with the Senior Permit Technician and reports directly to Supervising Building Official.

This full-time, benefited position plans, oversees and participates in the inspection, repair and maintenance for library infrastructure, systems and facilities throughout Sonoma County; sets priorities for facilities maintenance staff; provides project management for contracted work; and performs related work as required.
