To perform challenging and moderately technical paraprofessional accounting, finance, purchasing and bookkeeping duties required in the maintenance of fiscal and statistical records, preparation and maintenance of financial statements and documents; to review, verify, reconcile and record financial transactions which require interpretive ability and technical judgement. The purpose of this recruitment is to fill a current vacancy, as well as establish an eligibility list for future vacancies.
The senior accountant is a journey level classification that is responsible for overseeing and managing financial, revenue forecasting and technical accounting functions. Incumbents are expected to have a full understanding of budgeting, governmental financial accounting and reporting to work independently with in established guidelines.
The Salary for this position is $53,201.28 to $66,501.60 per year*.
