Summer Day Camps
We are now hiring part-time Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors for our aquatics programs!
Located at the McBean Memorial Pool, our Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors are an essential part of the aquatics recreational programs that we offer our residents. Be a part of a team that makes teaches important swimming skills and allows everyone to beat the heat and have fun!
We are hiring part-time Recreation staff to join our team! We are looking for candidates with qualities such as passion for working with children, reliability, creativity, dependability and enthusiasm.
WHAT IS THE JOB LIKE?
You can choose to work in one or more of our recreation programs. You can work for a season or year-around with the different programs! Based on the program, we will work around your schedule, even if it is limited or varies.

Under supervision of the Recreation Supervisor, to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate the Teens Helping Seniors program. Teens Helping Seniors serves Woodland by providing young volunteers to assist with general housework or yardwork to seniors in the community over the summer break.

Ideal Candidate:
The Ideal Candidate must have experience supervising youth or teens in a recreational environment. The candidate should be comfortable supervising staff/volunteers, scheduling daily activities, and communicating clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. Knowledge of basic emergency and safety procedures is needed. Excellent attendance is essential.
