The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in the Administrative Officer (AO) classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
Under direct supervision, the Police Officer Trainee attends a Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T) approved Police Basic Recruit Academy and successfully completes the academic and physical training required for appointment to the classification of Police Officer Recruit II.

The Department is currently recruiting for two (2) Heavy Equipment Operators (HEO) for the Parks Division. One position is full-time, permanent and the other position is full-time with budget approval (limited-dated) through June 30, 2020.
