Under direction of a Recreation Supervisor, the Preschool Site Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Village Park Preschool ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This role involves managing staff, coordinating programs, communicating with parents, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties

• Program Oversite
  • Coordinate with teachers and staff to ensure lesson plans, schedules, and classroom activities align with educational standards and goals.

Assistant Planner - This is the entry-level class within the professional Planner series. This class is distinguished from the journey level by the performance of more routine tasks and duties assigned to positions within this series. Since this class is typically used as a training class, employees have only limited or no directly related professional planning work experience. Employees work under general supervision while learning job tasks.


Incumbents may advance from the Assistant Planner to the Associate Planner level based on a recommendation by their supervisor and approval from the Director of Development Services or designee. The Housing Department

Under general supervision of the Program Coordinator, staff is responsible for planning and implementing daily age-appropriate activities including crafts, games, songs, drama, storytelling, and supervised play.
