Cadet Program (20498553)
Woodside Fire Protection District offers an exceptional Cadet Program for individuals interested in a career in the Fire Service. Cadets gain hands-on experience participating in training and public service events. Cadets work 24-hour shifts and ride-along on emergency calls.
Woodside Cadets will work and be involved in:
Emergency calls, firefighter training, public education events, fire prevention, station duties, CERPP, CPR/first aid training. They must also meet monthly hour requirements and attend monthly training drills.
This Internship is offered as part of a Regional Internship Partnership to introduce and encourage new graduates to local municipal governments. The City of Redwood City’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department is looking for Camp Leaders, Assistant Camp Directors & Camp Directors who are interested in working 25-40 hours per week during the summer. You'll enjoy planning, organizing and conducting basic recreation activities in a variety of settings selected by the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department.
