The Finance Department provides financial services to City Departments, as well as fiscal accountability and adequate control over the use of City funds. The City’s Director of Finance acts as Chief Financial Officer of the municipal corporation. The Department is supported by 13 FTE and has an annual budget of approximately $3 million.
The City of Thousand Oaks is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to join our team!
The Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader should have thorough knowledge of industry standards for proper construction and maintenance of municipal landscape, including irrigation, street trees, graffiti abatement, open space fuel modification, and environmental sustainability. The successful candidate will report to the Landscape Maintenance Supervisor and will lead, oversee and participate in the more difficult and responsible work of the landscape division.

The salary range for this position is $67,121.60 - 89,044.80.
The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate?s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in the Analyst I/II classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
The Deputy Finance Director will work closely with the Finance Director, division managers, and City management to provide a wide range of comprehensive services to the organization. This position assists in the management and day-to-day operations of the Department and acts in the absence of the Finance Director. The Deputy Finance Director directly supervises each of the division managers and directs the development, implementation, and evaluation of plans, policies, systems, and procedures to achieve Department priorities.
