The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in the Office Specialist II classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
Under direct supervision, the Police Officer Trainee attends a Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T) approved Police Basic Recruit Academy and successfully completes the academic and physical training required for appointment to the classification of Police Officer Recruit II.

Office Assistant I: Under direct supervision, the Office Assistant I performs a variety of technical office work and other related work as required.
