The City of Thousand Oaks has an excellent full-time opportunity in the Cultural Affairs department! We are seeking a self-motivated, highly organized, and collaborative individual to oversee the Bank of America Performing Arts Center (BAPAC) Volunteer program.
The Volunteer Specialist will ensure outstanding patron experiences by coordinating appropriate volunteer staffing for more than 300 events held at the BAPAC annually.
Under general supervision, the Account Clerk II is a journey level position, which requires 2 years of experience as an Account Clerk I or equivalent. This position is the second step in the Account Clerk job classification.
Incumbents in this class perform a wide variety of complex financial clerical work including general ledger account analysis, billing, posting and checking records; receives, answers or refers public request or inquiries; operates the telephone.
The current salary range for this 37.5/hr. week benefitted position is $4,440 to $6,082 per month. Flexible schedule will include evenings and weekends.
The Program Coordinator plans, implements and evaluates programs, events, and services in a specific area of recreation, cultural arts, and/or facilities; supervises and evaluates part-time temporary program personnel and volunteers; assists in the development and monitoring of facilities.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
Typical duties may include the following:
-Review, post and balance ledgers and other documents; process and review revenue, review and balance petty cash and/or change funds.
-Conduct and maintain inventory of stores, equipment and supplies.
-Compile and process payment and/or requisitions for various financial transactions; assign payment to cost centers.
-Prepare worksheet, financial charges and invoices, issue and maintain records of parking permits.
-Prepare special checks.
