The City of Albany is currently recruiting for a part-time Recreation Park Service Aide. This is a part-time seasonal position which generally runs from June through the end of October. The typical work schedule is Saturday and/or Sunday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Hours may change slightly depending on park rental schedule.
Under direct supervision, the Public Service Assistant II will perform litter/trash pick-up, barbeque maintenance, leaf/debris pick-up, and miscellaneous park duties in Central Park and other community parks. The Public Service Assistant II will also perform related duties as assigned.
The Community Development Department has the primary responsibility for administering the laws, regulations and requirements that pertain to the physical development of the City and for overseeing the implementation of the City’s economic development, housing, and public arts programs. The Department consists of the Planning, Building, and Economic Development and Housing Divisions.
