Under direction, the Recreation Coordinator II coordinates, organizes, implements and supervises assigned areas of one or more programs within the Parks and Recreation Department. Programs may include, but are not limited to recreation, services, facilities, special events, classes and youth committee projects and programs; assists in developing schedules, registration processes and fees for recreation services and facility rentals; conducts outreach and marketing activities with users, donors, sponsors and community groups; performs related duties and other work as required.

MAINTENANCE WORKER PARKS/ROADSIDES/TEMPORARY
SALARY: $18/hour. This is a non-benefitted position. Schedule will include weekend work and is limited to 29 hours/week, 129 hours/month, and 950 hours/calendar year.
Primary duties include supervision of the Work Alternative Program participants, cleaning and maintaining parks and roadsides and other associated assignments.
The City of Albany is currently recruiting for a part-time Recreation Park Service Aide. This is a part-time seasonal position which generally runs from June through the end of October. The typical work schedule is Saturday and/or Sunday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Hours may change slightly depending on park rental schedule.
The Scorekeeper maintains the score and operates the scoreboard during adult softball and basketball games.
The City’s Parks and Community Services Department is looking for dependable, personable self-starters to serve as Scorekeepers for the City’s Adult Softball Leagues (Fallon Sports Park) and Adult Basketball Leagues (Stager Community Gymnasium). This position reports to a Recreation Supervisor. Typical duties include: scorekeeping, operating a scoreboard, ensuring facilities are properly set up for leagues, cleaning up after events; and reporting results.

Under direct supervision, the Public Service Assistant II will perform litter/trash pick-up, barbeque maintenance, leaf/debris pick-up, and miscellaneous park duties in Central Park and other community parks. The Public Service Assistant II will also perform related duties as assigned.
Under general supervision, the Facility Attendant I/II oversees the proper use of a community recreational facility; performs a variety of custodial tasks; and assists the public and staff in their use of the facility. Duties include supervising, setting up and cleaning community recreational facilities during use by private parties and community groups.
