The County Counsel’s Office is the general counsel for the County of San Mateo and all of its departments, as well as for many school districts and special districts. As a large company might utilize its in-house counsel, our clients rely on our office for the full range of legal services, covering a broad spectrum of practice areas. Position is for Part-time employment from September to November approximately ten (10) hours per week(hours may vary depending on basketball scheduling) Number of Positions to be filled are six (6) Part time/Seasonal positions. Games are held on Saturday(s). The positions work only during the sports activity season.
The City of Yuba City is currently recruiting for one (1) full-time Fire Safety Inspector I/II. Under direct supervision of the Fire Marshal, Fire Safety Inspectors inspect fire protection systems, new construction sites, industrial and commercial occupancies and institutional and public assemblage occupancies to insure a practical level of fire and life safety exists in compliance with applicable state and local regulations and preforms related work. The Fire Safety Inspector typically works a 40 hour scheduled work week, but may also be assigned as an on call Fire Investigator as needed.
The Supervising Ranger is a challenging position offering a wide variety of responsibilities and opportunities to exercise independent judgment while patrolling District preserves, supervising a staff of sworn District Peace Officers, coordinating emergency response, interacting with the stakeholders and the public, representing the agency at public meetings and working cooperatively with other departments within the agency.
