The City of St. Helena has an exciting opportunity to fill a limited-term full-time position in the Planning Department. This is a great opportunity to become part of a team of dedicated individuals that take pride in serving the local community.
The Town is seeking qualified candidates to fill one position at either the Assistant or Associate Planner level. The position is half-time (20 hours/week) and permanent. For the Assistant Planner position, candidates should have a professional planning degree from an accredited college, or 1 year’s planning experience, or combination providing the equivalent. Duties typically include current planning zoning review and processing, under the general supervision of the Principal Planner or Planning Director.
Up to $20/hour, depending on experience
32-40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, possibly some weekends
Under supervision, the Seasonal Groundsworker performs semi-skilled and skilled tasks in general grounds maintenance and related work as assigned. The incumbent typically works on a team but occasionally may be assigned to perform tasks independently.

The City of American Canyon is seeking individuals who can perform an array of general clean-up and maintenance tasks in various City departments (Parks Maintenance is the current focus) and to provide assistance to regular employees engaged in skilled and semi-skilled duties. Duties will include but are not limited to field labor tasks as identified: shoveling/digging dirt, concrete, and asphalt; assisting with irrigation repairs, installations or adjustments; trimming and pruning trees and shrubs; and using a weed eater, lawn mower, blower and other light landscape equipment.
