The position will be responsible for Development Engineering. The selected candidate will work with developers and their engineers reviewing proposed development plans, issuing “will-serve” letters, determining development conditions and creating development agreements on all development projects within the City. The engineer will insure that public improvements meet all City standards. Experience either as a municipal development engineer or as a consultant working on development projects is desirable. The Department of Transportation (DOT) is seeking Street Sweeper Operators in the Infrastructure Maintenance (IM) Division. Street Sweeper Operators in DOT have the principal responsibility of the sweeping crew to provide clean streets on a consistent basis by effectively clearing trash and other accumulated debris from designated routes using a street sweeper. Currently the Department utilizes three types of sweepers: Elgin, Tymco, and Schwarze sweepers.
The City of Livermore is currently accepting applications for a half-time Airport Service Attendant. This position will be working 20 hours per week and will receive pro-rated benefits. The work schedule will be Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a half hour meal break.

The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in the Principal Engineer classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
