The City of Menlo Park is offering an exciting employment opportunity for a full-time Gymnastics Instructor in our creative and expansive Community Services Department.
This is a journey level classification responsible for performing the full range of duties in the development and implementation of gymnastics classes. Positions at this level receive only occasional instruction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise and are fully aware of the operating procedures and policies of the work unit.
THE POSITION: The City of Los Banos is seeking an individual to fill the position of Dispatcher in the Police Department. This individual will perform a variety of duties including but not limited to answering emergency and non-emergency radio and telephone communications, dispatching personnel and equipment, searching inmates, conducting checks of entire jail facility and assisting with other jail functions, entering police reports into computer system, and other related duties as assigned.

The City’s Teen Centers provide structured recreational activities and educational opportunities for up to 55 middle school students during the school year.
Under general supervision, the Communications Officer, as a member of the Police Department, transmits and receives information over the police and public works radio system; dispatches routine and emergency calls for service; types, records, and files information; handles emergency and non-emergency telephone calls utilizing complex technical aids, such as computer aided dispatch systems (CAD), and performs related work as assigned.
Under general supervision, the Public Safety Dispatcher receives emergency and non-emergency calls for service and dispatches police and fire units or other public safety personnel; performs data entry and other clerical duties; and performs related work as assigned.
