This seasonal position works with the City’s maintenance staff to perform: unskilled labor in the parks and landscape medians, street and sidewalk maintenance, street sign maintenance, and building maintenance. Duties include, but are not limited to: raking, emptying trash cans and litter removal, irrigation repair, weeding, edging, street sign maintenance and graffiti removal. The Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader should have thorough knowledge of industry standards for proper construction and maintenance of municipal landscape, including irrigation, street trees, graffiti abatement, open space fuel modification, and environmental sustainability. The successful candidate will report to the Landscape Maintenance Supervisor and will lead, oversee and participate in the more difficult and responsible work of the landscape division.
