The Department

This position performs a variety of work in the monitoring of county, state and federal detainees and maintains the security and safety of inmates and staff.

This position will perform a variety of responsible law enforcement and crime prevention work, including patrolling assigned areas, answering calls and complaints, investigating crimes, serving civil papers, and providing court room security; enforce all federal and state laws and local ordinances related to public safety and welfare.

The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for the flexibly staffed position of Elections Clerk I-II in the Elections Division within the Clerk-Recorder’s Office for both Extra Help and Full Time positions. This position reports directly to the Registrar of Voters Manager. This class is flexibly staffed, and incumbents may advance to the II-level after gaining experience, demonstrating proficiency, and meeting the qualifications.
THE POSITION:
The position may be filled at either the Building Maintenance Technician I ($25.5464 - $34.2345 per hour) or at Building Maintenance Technician II ($28.2260 - $37.8255 per hour), based on candidate qualifications and experience.
