Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District is comprised of over 63,000 acres of land and 26 open space preserves protected for public enjoyment. In 2014, with broad public support, the District secured $300 million dollars of bond capacity with the passing of Measure AA, a mandate for Midpen to continue to pursue our mission to acquire and preserve open space land and protect and restore the natural environment in a regional green-belt system near Silicon Valley in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The City of Redwood City invites you to apply for the position of LANDSCAPE GARDENER. The incumbent will perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled gardening and turf maintenance duties in a team-based environment. The Landscape Gardener will be involved in the development, maintenance and repair of landscaped areas and will operate a variety of landscape maintenance equipment.
To service and perform minor repairs and a variety of semi-skilled preventative maintenance duties on a variety of automotive and other power-driven and mechanical equipment.
The purpose of this recruitment is to hire a temporary/part-time position. Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications for the Equipment Service Worker position may be considered for employment as an Intern. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
FLEET AND FACILITIES MANAGER
Under general direction, plans, schedules, manages and supervises the programs and activities associated with facilities maintenance, facilities planning and capital projects, fleet operations and maintenance and disposal and acquisition of new vehicles and equipment; manages and develops outside contracts, vendors, and project budgets; assures regulatory compliance and economy in all programs; performs related work as required.
