The Department of Parks, Recreation, and Neighborhood Services Department (PRNS) is looking to hire individuals who want to impact the lives of San José’s youngest learners. The San José Recreation Preschool program offers children, ages 3 to 5 years old, and their families educational and recreational experiences that support their imaginative, physical, cognitive, social and emotional development. Children will prepare for kindergarten success in a fun, safe and welcoming environment.

Under general supervision, assists in the planning and scheduling of custodial maintenance of City buildings; supervises work crews; personally performs a variety of skilled building cleaning maintenance tasks; and performs related work as required.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. As of 10/6/2019, members of the OE#3 bargaining unit will also receive a 3% increase in addition to the salary listed.
Employees are expected to work a five-day per week schedule.
